Recently received e-mail from, DeLoris Nadine Johnson Grow, a member of the Class of 1942: I just found this website. Have never received any info since I graduated regarding class reunions - wasn't that difficult to locate as lived with my parents in Lincoln, NE until 1946. Then I lived in different cities in Montana until 1954, back to Lincoln until 1987 but of course my married name was not known. Have lived in Chicago, St. George, Utah and now to Auburn where I shall probably live out my remaining days.

Have decided to add my name -- I do remember some of my former classmates but not sure if I would be remembered. I was sorry to see that Ruth Bean Smalley was dead - she and I were good friends in Junior High. Sam McMahon lived next door. His dad and my dad were railroad men together. I kept in touch with Sam during WWII.

It was great to see this page and thank those in charge.

The VHS Class of 1946 celebrated their 60th Class Reunion, July 1, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. at The Bank in Villisca.
